    The fantastic george Wilson is the artist, famous for his PHANTOM covers for both the paperbacks and the Gold Key comic book series.

    The main model is Steve Holland, a body-builder / actor / model who posed for hundreds if not thousands of photo shoots for artists.

    Holland can be seen here when he played Flash gordon in the 1950's TV series shot in Germany:
