BOLO: PUBLIC MORALS

Be On The Lookout: With the retro look of the late lamented Crime Story and Mad Men, Public Morals is a new cop show from TNT from executive producer Steven Spielberg and Amblin Television, starring Mob City’s Ed Burns. If the preview below is anything to go by, it certainly looks worth checking out.

New York Police Department – 1967

Public Morals centers on the NYPD’s Public Morals Division, where cops walk the line between morality and criminality while sometimes giving in to the temptations of dealing with every kind of vice. The heart of Public Morals is Terry Muldoon (Burns), a tough cop who knows the line between the good guys and bad guys is very thin. He is also determined to raise his sons to be honest and hardworking as he deals with the dark underbelly of the vice world.
Things are going to go BOOM!

  2. Paul - wanted to comment on your Miss Fisher review - but lack of tech skills canot let me post in correct place - I listen to the books on Audible and watch the tv show. I think its a great adaptation - no its not exactly the same but it has been created with great style and with Kerry Greenwoods blessing which says alot imo. Netflix is carrying MFMM Season 1 & 2 - and according to ABC Australia soon to show Season 3. Longmire - another great show - has been picked up by Netflix so I believe a new series is set to air soon. Finally, if you are west coast based KPBS (?) is due to run a behind the scenes show and Season 3 later this month.
