Created by Paul Bishop and Mel Odom, the Fight Card series features monthly 25,000 word novelettes, designed to be read in one or two sittings, inspired by the fight pulps of the ’30s and ’40s – such as Fight Stories Magazine – and Robert E. Howard’s two-fisted boxing tales featuring Sailor Steve Costigan.

Currently there are over 45 tightly plotted Fight Card tales of fistic mayhem from some of the best New Pulp authors working today, each sporting a stunning cover created by some of the top artist working in the pulp field today.

The Fight Card Brand also includes, Fight Card MMA , Fight Card Romance, Fight Card Luchadores (set in the world of Mexican Masked wrestling), and the contemporary set Fight Card Now imprints. December 2015 will also bring publication of our third bestselling Fight Card Sherlock Holmes tales.

Retro or modern, Fight Card novels continue to provide inspiring, entertaining stories of tough guys caught in tough spots with nothing but their fists, wits, and fighting nature to battle against the odds. Fight Card novels are about characters and their individual journeys and how they can inspire our character and our journeys.

As Fight Card readers you can become part of the Fight Card team by hitting the Like button on the Fight Card Facebook page, writing reviews on Amazon with your honest opinions of the tales you’ve read, and giving us shout-outs on your blogs. FIGHT CARD: FELONY FISTS
Los Angeles, 1954...

Patrick Felony Flynn has been fighting all his life. Learning the sweet science from Father Tim the fighting priest at St. Vincent’s, the Chicago orphanage where Pat and his older brother Mickey were raised, Pat has battled his way around the world – first with the Navy and now with the Los Angeles Police Department.

Legendary LAPD chief William Parker is on a rampage to clean up both the department and the city. His elite crew of detectives known as The Hat Squad is his blunt instrument – dedicated, honest, and fearless. Promotion from patrol to detective is Pat’s goal, but he also yearns to be one of the elite.

And his fists are going to give him the chance.

Gangster Mickey Cohen runs LA’s rackets, and murderous heavyweight Solomon King is Cohen’s key to taking over the fight game. Chief Parker wants Patrick “Felony” Flynn to stop him – a tall order for middleweight ship’s champion with no professional record.

Leading with his chin, and with his partner, LA’s first black detective Tombstone Jones, covering his back, Patrick Flynn and his Felony Fists are about to fight for his future, the future of the department, and the future of Los Angeles.

FIGHT CARD: SWAMP WALLOPER
Patrick Felony Flynn is back! And this time he's in way over his head...

New Orleans, 1956...When the battered body of boxer Marcus de Trod turns up on the edge of the Bayou Sauvage outside New Orleans with the words ‘Get Felony Flynn LAPD’ tattooed in his armpits, Hat Squad detective, Patrick Felony Flynn, knows he is in for the fight of his life.

Far from the hardboiled streets of Los Angeles, Flynn and his partner, Tombstone Jones, are on a two-fisted rampage to find a killer. But hiding in the swamp, deep inside the walls of the Bayou Sauvage Federal Penitentiary, the killer patiently waits to crush his prey with razor sharp teeth and deadly jaws.

After taking down gangster Mickey Cohen’s championship prospect Solomon Kane in Felony Fists, Patrick Flynn triumphantly returns in Swamp Walloper, facing an even more dangerous foe – a killer fueled by voodoo and revenge...
